Switching Between Binary and ASCII in TFTP

I having been having trouble downloading and uploading from my TFTP server in FreeNAS. Small configuration files work fine, but larger images work for only a short amount of time and then fail claiming illegal protocol operation. I looked into this and many recommended switching between binary and ascii settings on the tftp server. In the gui there is no option for this. I was wondering if there is an extra command I could put in to make this happen or even a way through the CLI.

Switching between binary and ascii is a switch on the client, it is not a setting on the server.

Thanks for that, I should have known. :) Problem has been solved. If anyone else is trying this and looking here, the image was too big for tftp to be used, I used FTP and it worked great.
