Hi!

My machine has been working fine for about a year.
I have not changed anything besides updating FreeNAS every now and then.
Yesterday this came up during boot and I cannot get past it.
Is it hardware failure? Any idea which part?

I have 32GB of ram (it usually uses about half) and 7x3TB drives in 2 zfs pools.
System is run on 2xSandisk 16GB thumbdrives.
PSU EVGA 650W.
Pretty new AMD motherboard and a way too fast cpu.

Very grateful for any help since I know nothing about FreeBSD.

Looks like one (or both) of the thumbdrives failed. Does installing the same version to another stick and restoring your config fix it?

Booting from an ssd did the charm, so yes, the thumbdrives were at fault.
Too bad I didn't have a recent config.

You still might on your system dataset pool as it is automatically backed up each day.
