Hello,

I am trying to start the RancherUI VM but it just wont start. I followed the install instructions and ran into a first problem the download was stopped because it could not download the file. So I downloaded the file from FreeNAS server and put manually to the .bhyve folder.
The installation did run then. I added the needed properties to the raw device and tried to start the VM.
Then the dialog saying "Starting the magic" or something like that appeared and was closed immediately again and the VM remains in state "stopped".
Is there any log file to see the crash reason?
Please see the picture for system information.

Thanks for your help.

If i try to run the vm command i get the reply that "vm_enable is not set properly - see rc.conf". Might this be the issue? How can i fix it?

Okay just forget it, i just have not checked if virtualization was enabled in BIOS. Sorry
