Hello,
I want to start the host remote.
The problem is that I do have only 1 available LAN cable to connect. This goes to the HPE NIC, which will not work with WoL (although it is supposed to do so)
The lights of the HPE NIC ports go out once the host is shut down.
This is not true for the onboard NIC port - the lights keep blinking.
Possible solution:

Possible solution:
- get the HPE 10 GBit NIC to work with WoL - preferred
- it is capable of WoL https://netsotech.com/assets/documents/HPE_Ethernet_10GBASE-T_Adapters.pdf
- replace the 10 GBit NIC with WoL model
- attach a WiFi adaptor to the onboard NIC port an use WoL there
- other solution to start the host (no WoL)
- I have set up the EFI to start at a given time each day which works fine. However sometimes I need to start the host before that time.
