When the host / system is shut down, than there is no LED active / no blinking on the Intel NIC

WOL with onboard LAN does work.

How do I get WoL working for the X540-T2 DualPort 10G Ethernet?
Dell T20

However I get an error message for:

ethtool -s enp1s0f0 wol g
netlink error: cannot enable unsupported WoL mode (offset 40)
netlink error: Invalid argument
