Space for ZFS Snapshots?

Hello,
i am running FreeNas on an supermicro server with 8x3TB disks and 10G connection to 3 vsphere 5 nodes.

First i created an raidz with all disks and then create 4 zvols with 4TB Space.
Naturaly now a big part of my space is used. Where will be zfs snapshots stored if i activate this function and how i know how much zfs snapshots i could take?

I don't have the answer but this type of question has been asked many times here. Have you searched the forums yet?
