I had SMB shares on a 9.10 FreeNAS and upgraded to 11.1u4. after reboot, shares were still available for about a day, and then suddenly they went offline after the w10 machine mounting them rebooted.
Then I found out that the SMB service had been turned off, without my explicit involvement.
Could this have been a consequence of the upgrade procedure? Or some setting changed by one of the upgraded packages?
How come the shares stayed online until the w10 rebooted?
