Unable to start SMB Service

Good Morning,
I've done a fair bit of searching (both here and Google) and I'm unable to find a solution that corrects my issue.

Problem:
When starting the SMB service (Services > SMB), I get an error that says "SMB service failed to start."

Troubleshooting Attempted:
After trying to start the SMB service (via CLI) I got an error stating that smb4.conf couldn't be read.
I checked this path and didn't find the following file /usr/local/etc/smb4.conf, so that's missing.
I have also:
- Rebooted several times
- Destroyed all shares and rebuilt them
- Verified I have more than enough available HDD space.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of FreeNAS is this? What is output of df -T?

Samba won't start because your boot device is corrupted. Try replacing it and use an SSD.

I do currently have an SSD as the boot device.
TBH, Ever since a clean install, I always have a corrupted boot device.
Meaning, I've never not had a corrupted boot device.
This may be my 7th or 8th install of FreeNAS on different systems.

I've tried a single SSD, two SSD's in a RAID 1 configuration and even a 1TB 5400RPM spinny drive just so I could see if I could get around it.

Whenever I've done new installs, I've gone here to get the files:

And verified the checksum after, to ensure that I didn't lose anything, etc.

I plan on taking Anodos' recommendations and checking RAM/etc when I get home from work. Then, if that doesn't fly, maybe a clean install and see where that takes me.

What brand of SSD are you using for your boot drive? There are known compatibility issues with the controller on some Sandisk and WD green SSD's.

I was infact using a SanDisk brand drive with 3 of the tests.
I also had my original setup with 2 of the SanDisk SSDs in RAID01... errors galore.
I switched out the SanDisk(s), fresh install on a different SDD and now I have no errors on my boot-pool.
In addition, I moved the boot drive to an Intel, as opposed to a Marvell, SATA port.

Also, because of the fresh install SMB started right up, no issues.
I don't mind doing fresh installs since my storage pool is on different drives.
So a fresh install is just 'import pool', change a few things and back to good.
