Hello,

My setup looks something like this:

Router 1 -> connected to a FreeNAS BOX and to Router 2
Router 2 -> connected to 3 Windows computers

I have a CIFS share configured on FreeNAS. When I connect directly to Router 1, I can see it from the Network window of any Windows computer.

However, when I connect to Router 2, I cannot see this share.

Router 1 is 192.168.0.* and Router 2 is 192.168.1.*.

I can open the FreeNAS web admin from my computer connected to router 2, so I know routing is not basically blocked. But it doesn't see the SMB share on the network and doesn't let me access it by name.

Any idea why? Thank you!

I'm sorry for the trouble! This issue is resolved. I've been able to access the FreeNAS share using an IP address (\\192.168.0.x) so it WORKS. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for the forum :)
