Hello,
I built my first server a couple years ago thanks to the community here and everything's been great so far. Recently, I've experience my first alert regarding a HDD:
The smart data is:
I tried doing some research before posting but only found conflicting information and I'm not sure I entirely understand SMART and how it works. The red flag for me here was the multi_zone_error_rate incrementing to 1. When the alert first came up I thought the drive would try to re-map or flag the bad area and subsequently complete tests but I keep getting the read failures. I have about 130 days left on the warranty on this drive.
Can anyone give me an opinion on this drive?
Thanks!
