SOLVED Slow write / read

Hello!

I new with this nas things and i have a problem...

Ok, so when i have my nas and my pc connected to an switch i get read speed: 11.68 MB/s and write speed: 11.75 MB/s
When i directly connect my nas to my pc (no switch) i get read speed: 97.45 MB/s and write speed: 89.71MB/s

My switch is an 100mb/s switch so it should handle this with no problem. But why am i having this problem? Have i forgotten to enable / disable anything in the settings?
Both ethernet cables are cat 5 and are working, i have tested them.

100Mb/sec is NOT 100MB/sec. Extra credit for correct capitalization(and extra performance).

oh..sooo.. my switch got 10/100 mark on it. which means that i can have a write speed of max 10MB/s ???
