Oh boy. From Massachusetts, using FIOS 300 Mbps both ways, my speed is 70k/second.

I'm totally new to Truenas, just got to know it today. I will remember the product... since it is very 'special'. I don't recall trying to download a product and get that a slow transfer.

Could we get a Torrent link for TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.0.1.iso?

I also have this issue with Deutsche Telekom Service only getting around 100bit/s. Hope this will be fixed with the newly planned capacity. Managed to get it down with the VPN Trick others mentioned here.

I read that as Mb/s and was thinking to myself "what are you comaining about, 100 Mb/s is not worth investing time into this iss... Oh... Bits per second. Ouch."

For reference, the Apollo Guidance Computer's slow downlink option was 1.6 kb/s.

Hi all,

had the same problem. Slow and unstable download. My solution was to use wget which retries the download after losing connection. It worked, but took several hours. Now I'm on cobia, but this is very annoying from a customer perspective.

So as the people above, I'm in Germany and my provider ist Deutsche Telekom (subbrand Congstar).

Would be nice if this would be fixed for future updates.

Could it be that the Apps are also affected by this problem? I feel that all apps are super slow when downloading something over an app or updating an app

I was also affected by the problem (download speed ca 35KB/s, interruptions, 6h estimated Download time for TrueNAS SCALE iso) and can confirm that the problem went away on this Monday Morning 5 Dec (ca. 5MB/s, which is not great but acceptable).

My provider is Deutsche Telekom as well.
