Hello everyone,
I am currently running into an issue with my NAS which I am remotely accessing over a VPN.
Before, when I did this from the same country I got speeds around 4 MB/s which is about equal to my home internet upload speed.
However now, I am in a different country I only get 300 KB/s which makes file transfer very painful, also since I can not physically test the system I am also in a pickle.
Is there perhaps something that makes transfer speed of freenas much lower when it is accessed over openVPN from a different country, or might there be something be wrong? Is there a way to test my upload speed remotely or tests I can do to rule out possible options?
