Hi everyone. I have this situation:

folder: root and subfolders A,B,C - some people have access to multiple subfolder
I dont want anyone to see the "main subfolders", the only way to access it is typing the address ip/A$
With windows server its easy, I dont share the root folder, only the subfolder and give access to the ones I want.

With FreeNas the only way I got it was sharing the root folder but then averyone can see the subfolders inside, even the ones they are not sharing, becouse I had to give permission to everyone in the root folder.

Is there a way I can fix it ?

Exactly the same as Windows, just share the subfolders individually and give access to the ones you want.
If you share them with the name "A$" that'll hide them from Windows' browsing, it's a feature of the $ at the end of the name that causes Explorer not to show that share.
