'SMB 1' is being used as is 'NTLMv1 Auth' Both are needed for the clients as to also logon to the share. But I don't see it in the testparm file attached

This applies to share with 'Browsable To Network Clients' checked

9.3 Shares never appeared on clients until a disk share was available...perfect.

11.3 All shares are visible by network clients when no disks shares are available.

This happened form the onset of the upgrade and switching on 'SMB1' support (obviously)

Not a good thing, especially when a user can spend half an hour trying to log on and getting 'Login Fail' or
assume that disk is mounted when it's not for a share.

Any ideas. I've already spent hours on it with no luck.

ntlm auth = ntlmv1-permitted
^^^ This is NTLMv1 Auth

server min protocol = NT1
^^^ This is SMB1

Thanks been trying to get this upgrade fully functional for over 18 hours. 9.3 I had set it didn't touch it for 4years.

Still, any ideas on why the shares show on the clients when they shouldn't. Atleast not until the actual disk share is available.
