Server Upgrade/drive overhaul advice

Alright!
I have had my freenas server for a while now, truly enjoying it!

I have a freenas server:
FreeNAS-8.3.1 x64
FrenasMB: MSI 790fx-gd70
(Patriot sector 5) 8gb dd53 ram
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (black edition)

Using ZFS:
(on board sata controller)I have 3x WD green 2tb in a raidz
(add in card, Startech 2xsata 6)I had 2x samsung f4 2tb in a raid 1

The Samsung set failed. Missing drive/ Error getting total space sort of deal.

I would like to keep the box and sell/upgrade the drives.

I was looking and considering WD nas RED line.

I am also considering a Samsung F4 setup. (despite them failing, I have read great reviews, and wont hold it against them, since it was probably the controller card.)

Based on recommendations here I would like to get a ServeRAID M1015 (Crossflashed to IT mode)


I would like any and all advice about my next server overhaul!
