This is a FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE running with no issues. I built the server about a year ago and have upgraded it regularly.
SERVER is connected to my MAC for timemachine backups and other things. Last backup was on March 5th. I also got an email from my server on March 7th about an upgrade:
---------------------------
A new update is available for the FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE train.

Version: FreeNAS-9.10.2-U2
Changelog:
None
---------------------------

After that there is no response from my Server. I tried all of the following:

1- Turn off/remove power cables / turn on -> Fans are running. LEDs on MB are blinking, but No response, no VGA output , no beep, no Keyboard blink, no LAN green lights (only Yellow LEDs on LAN ports blinking)
2- Removed all HDDs, removed RAMs, Cleared CMOS, reassembled, still nothing
3- Removed FreeNas OS USB stick, tried to turn on the server with no HDD and no FreeNas USB. still no output, just running fans and blinking LEDs on MB

Here are my specs:
Case: SilverStone Technology Premium Mini-ITX / DTX Small Form Factor NAS Computer Case, Black (DS380B)
MB: ASRock Rack Mini ITX DDR3 1333 Motherboards (C2550D4I)
Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3/DDR3L-1600MT/s (PC3-12800) DR x8 ECC UDIMM Server Memory
FreeNas 9.10.STABLE installed on SanDisk Cruzer Fit 8GB USB 2.0 Low-Profile Flash Drive- SDCZ33-008G-B35
HDDs: 8 of WD Red 4TB NAS Desktop Hard Disk Drive - Intellipower SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX

Take a look at thread https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...s-system-fault-may-lead-to-dead-system.50314/ and others on the topic of failing ASRock Avoton boards.
