Since smb.conf get overwritten on startup how do I get this setting to stick? I tried to just put that line in the Auxiliary parameters in CIFS config but that did not work. If I edit smb.conf, that works until I reboot.

It defaults to Security = Share and that throws errors.

Sorry, 9.2.1. This started wham I updated from 9.2.0. I made it go away by editing the SMB.conf file but it gets overwritten when I restart.

9.2.1.1 resolves this issue, but other issues still exist. You can try 9.2.1.1, wait for 9.2.1.2 or roll back to 9.2.0.
