SATA Controller Card that Works?!

On a whim, I bought a couple of the SI-PEX40064 4port SATA PCIe2.0 single lane cards from Newegg a few weeks back. It has the Marvell 88SE9215 chipset, which is in the same family as the 9235. I saw on another forum that it was used with FreeNAS, and functioned correctly. Between getting a pair of the cards for $30 including shipping, and the fact that I also have a windows machine that will be requiring one or two cards like this, I figured I couldn't go wrong. If they don't work well, or at all, with FreeNAS, I will just slap them in the windows machine.

I've been using the IO Crest SI-PEX40064 for about 3 weeks now on a backup server running 9.3.1. I have 2 disks of a 6 disk RAIDZ2 pool attached. No problems as of yet with the card.
