Just looking for a sanity check here.
Use Case: This FreeNAS system is going to serve as an offsite backup for my primary FreeNAS system. The only thing it will do is receive ZFS-Snapshots via replication.
I'm planning on going with one of the basic Gen 8 builds -- one of the Celeron models as I have no plans for this to do anything other than receive snapshots. I'm planning on maxing out the RAM at 16 GB for stability purposes. I want to do 2x8TB disks, mirrored. This is going to live at my parents house, so I'm looking for a quiet build
I wanted to see if anyone knew of any gotchas or oddities that I need to be aware of?
