Hi All,

My test system already have Supermicro approved Samsung 16GB M393B2G70QH0-YK0 by chips:K4B4G0446Q-HYK0

I buy another one (for dual channel operation) the title ebay said M393B2G70QH0-YK0 but the package contain Samsung 16GB M393B2G70BH0-YK0 chips:K4B4G0446B-HYK0
I try check both sepcification:
- for QH0 http://www.samsung.com/global/busin...duct/DS_DDR3_4Gb_Q_die_RDIMM_Rev11_135V-2.pdf
- for BH0 http://www.samsung.com/global/busin..._ddr3_4gb_b-die_based_1_35v_rdimm_rev16-5.pdf

How I see both 16GB RDIMM 1600Mhz 11-11-11 1.35V but
B-die: 512Mx8, column address A0-A9
Q-die: 1Gx4 , column address A0-A9,A11
BH0 on approved list for supermicro but just the BH0-CK0 the 1.5V version table not in 1.35V table.

Could they operate together (bank A1&A2 or A1&B1 in non dual channel) in production system? Or forget the B-die and send back to e-bay seller as I don't get what I ordered (due non supermicro compliant) ?

Many thanks for help,
Jackson

Probably, but...

This is probably better. Supermicro can be really insistent when it comes to RAM from the QVL
