SAMBA - Can't access truenas via IP

Hoping to get some assistance here, I've used google so much on this issue I was on page 9. I'm at a loss.

Issue where truenas smb shares via ip address throws access denied but if I connect via the hostname it works just fine. I have attached some screenshots. Let me know if you need any thing else.


I have enabled netbios-NS it doesn't appear to make a difference.

Depending on context, only kerberos auth may be allowed (for example AD with NTLM disabled). In this case access via IP address will not be possible.

I guess I should add I am using Active Directory, nothing special configured there. Auth via IP It does seem to work intermittently I just can't figure out what the trigger is.
