I have newly installed TrueNAS-12.0-U8 and have a Samba share set up for everyone to access. On all 3 Macs I have running, Monterey, Mojave and High Sierra when accessing the share the permissions show as my account having full access and everyone no access. No other permissions are shown. Writing to the share is OK but copying files from it inherits the permissions above which I don't really want to populate my system, 700 for POSIX permission. I can set up AFP which works well but it is depreciated and I don't really want to use it if I can help it. Would anyone know why ACLs are working this way from a Mac? Running Windows emulated the share and permission all look fine.
