Hello people,
I've got a strange issue and need some input...
I backup a server via rsync to my local freenas. On the server runs a database and a backup of the database.
So far it was running perfectly, until I moved the database backup to another hdd on the server.
I created a new rsync task, to rsync this backup from new servers hdd to freenas.
Now rsync transfers the whole database backup - instead of the updated files only -, every night.
I set to keep permissions and timestamps, so I see, that the major parts of the backup haven't changed. But still: rsync copies everything.
It's an issue for me, because I transfer 80GB of data, instead of 2GB each night. And... snapshotting on freenas is filling my tank.
Any idea?
