rsync and file acces problem

Hello got some problems

first our rync from freenas to debian server isnt working so far No errors have shown
it just dont do the backup?

next problem that arise today is I as admin cant reach files that other users created I cant copy them or use filezilla to download them ?

all users in this setup share the same volym no private folders/mapps
all users are in the same group and have the same rights

The rsync is done by a corporation so I havent realy any idea whats been done and I cant reach those who did the installation of the backup(rsync)

any idea what I should look at to solve the problem?

You need to check permissions on the files/folders on the debian server. How is your FreeNAS server configured? If you are using CIFS, what type of ACLs are set?
