I had my FreeNas box in my garage and I was having some problems with Amahi box which was acting as my DHCP. I tunred off the Amahi box reset the router and tried to reset the freenas box.

After many tries the box never found the network.
So reset to factory defaults.
OOPS the cat 5 cable was not connected..... ugggg

So now I have the web gui working but I need to reconnect my drives. They were UFS (I think)

Is there a way to simply search and reconnect these drives. I am a little scared because the my box was the backup of all pictures in the house. could be a problem for me....

Hi dlaigne,

I tried that and non of the drives show up on the list. I tried to import manually and it throws errors because the name is wrong so it won't import.

Any other ideas. Can I "see" the volumes using the command line?

Thanks for the response.

Did you figure out if it is UFS or ZFS? If ZFS, post the output of "zpool status". If UFS, any idea what type of RAID is in use?
