Reboot Non-Stop Post Installation

Hello, I am trying to install FreeNas 9.2 x64 on a Dell Latitude Laptop
- 40GB Internal Drive
- 4GB Ram
- External USB Drive My Passport 500GB

The installation went well except:
- Does not recognize the External USB Drive
- System reboots in LOOP

Any ideas are welcome.

A laptop for freenas? You sir have some balls.. USB drives not worth it. (too slow/unreliable (too much hardware in the way etc)). 4gb ram not gonna be close to ZFS needs.. If this is media you care nothing about I'd maybe use that setup via UFS.. Over 10/100 not going to be fast though..

You're the second person in 2 days to have a laptop that doesn't work. Don't bother..the likelyhood of it even working (nevermind your performance or reliability problems associated with it) is very slim to none.

You'd have to multiply that computer by 100 before FreeNAS was a reasonable idea.
