I’m very new to freenas
I’ve followed the setup guide for 777 access will add security later when I know what I m doing.
I ve followed the guides online to do this.
I’ve several pcs, one win 7 64bit one win 7 32 and an xp machine.
I’m having permissions issues where I can rename files and move them but I can't delete files that the xp puts on the freenas share.
And I’m sure I can't do it the other way either. I don't know why this is happening but i do have a vpn connection on the xp machine.
All I want at the moment is to have a basic share without difference machines having rights
If I try and remove the read-only from the file it says (win64)
You will need to provide administrator permission to change these attributes
Access is denied
