R720xd with Intel X520/I350

I have a R720xd with intel X520/I350 2x1gbe 2x10gbe SFP+ my two 1gb interfaces show up but my 2 10gb interfaces disappear when i hook up a dac cable or an SFP+ module.... ive pulled my hair out thinking it was a firmware problem but IDRAC reports all ports are up and running. Ubiquiti controller sees them by mac address but i cant seem to get an ip set or anything in truenas
