Hi just copying 2tb of data from freenas to my desktop drive to backup in preperation to change from z1 to z2.

Whilst trasfering files I notice these errors in the web gui footer...

I had also received this email from the FreeNas box in June but didn't really think much of it at the time...

Also just for interest I ran the smartctl for the rest of the drives (all WD Green 3TB drives by the way and I have NOT run wdidle on them but the machine runs 24/7)

Yeah I was asking you about wdidle in another post.... Can someone advise what to set for that and how to go about it in a freenas box so I dont accidently upset the volume. For eg, do I need to unplug all drives except one at atime using wdidie or can they all stay connected and what do I want to change the head park or whatever it is and what to ??? Obviously I need help here !!!

Now to my original post and the "CAM status: Uncorrectable parity/CRC error" Can anyone see a problem with ada4?
Thanks guys learning a lot about Freenas in the last few days depsite having it for two years or so.

"CAM status: Uncorrectable parity/CRC error"

I've ran the smart test, short and long and both completed without error. Why am I continuously getting this message for ad4? I would of thought if there was a problem with a disk that FreeNas would have told me in a reasonable way?
