Installed FreeNAS but it is always detecting only the first 2 drives. I have 4 nos. of 4tb hdds each plugged into lenovo emc pc12-400r. Every time i view the disks tab in FreeNAS i could only find 2 drives from the first two slots. Swap the disks still same problem. Hdds and slots are working because i installed ubuntu and it detected all the drives.
Pl help me in detecting all the drives...

Giving more information about your hardware configuration
would be required before anyone is going to be able to help.
When it comes to rackmount chassis equipment, how the drives
are interfaced with the motherboard will be important in
finding a solution for you.
The most important aspect of drive interface in FreeNAS is
the hardware's ability to give the OS direct access to each drive,
so if your machine has some form of RAID controller, it most
likely will not work properly with FreeNAS.
My recommendation at this time is to consult with Lenovo Forums
and inquire if anyone is successfully running FreeNAS on one of
these machines. If you fail to find anyone that's is running FreeNAS,
there's probably a reason for that.
