One M1015 to 2 Hp expander cards

So the only thing i could think of is the backplane of the 4220 case. Brought it used a while back.

Yeah the norco 4220.

I tested the cables, the expander, moving harddrives from one backplane to another works. Seems like only the 1st backplane is working and the other 4 are dead!!

The Norco backplane is a passive splitter...

Ie, it just runs the 4 lanes to 4 drives. Not even sure if it's actually sas.

It's possible the back planes are dead I suppose, especially if you move a working cable and power plug to each and the rest don't work.

Not sure what else it could be. I contacted them and they should be sending some replacements. I googled the issue, and apparently ppl have reported them going bad, some as bad as catching fire.
