Hi all,
The FreeBSD devs have picked up my ticket relating to the 'spin lock held too long' kernel panic issue on TrueNAS 12. They have asked me for a full core minidump (not just the textdump that TrueNAS normally provides).
Does anyone know how to configure TrueNAS to do full core-dumps instead of text-dumps? The related FreeBSD docs are here: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.I...-handbook/kerneldebug.html#kerneldebug-obtain
However when I inspect rc.conf on TrueNAS there is a comment stating that the core dump setting is handled by the TrueNAS middleware.
So is there a middleware setting to enable core minidumps rather than just textdumps?
Thanks!
