Hello all,

any one has real life experience for helping in vs battle for 10G nic:

i have seen a lot of posts regarding both of them mostly related to problems and update or tuning.

basicaly my goal is to upgrade the FN box (still runing 9.X in production), to boost the iscsi serving to 1 -3 esxi (may be proxmox),

my idea is to put a 4 port 10 GB (SFPP) on the FN box and single or dual port nics on the esxi, creating an ad-hoc with twin-ax cables.

from some reading i did i see both chelsio and intel ( 3rd party mfct based on X710-BM2) do both support iscsi and offload, bottom line-by specs/price no big difference.

question: anyone tried any of the those cards for real life scenarios with offload ON and OFF, to see the benefit of such feature?

question: any of the very extensive features they both offer are realy usable on FN?
