Hello, I just installed FreeNAS-9.10.2-U4 for the first time.
All installed okay, however after reboot, the monitor says:
Code:
This is a NAS data disk and can not boot system. System halted

I checked the BIOS and the boot order is:
[UEFI USB Key]
[UEFI CD/DVD]
[UEFI Hard Disk]
[UEFI USB Hard Disk]
[UEFI USB CD/DVD]
[UEFI Network]
[USB Hard Disk]
[USB CD/DVD]
[Hard Disk:ST3100...]
[CD/DVD]
[USB Key]
[USB Floppy]
[Network]

In the machine SATA ports I have:
1 x SSD 120 GB for the FreeNAS OS.
1 x HDD 1 TB for FreeNAS storage.

The boot should boot off the 1 x SSD 120 GB for the FreeNAS OS.

Ok, I found a BIOS option to ensure the correct HDD OS ran at install. Unusual how the 2 disks changed boot order, as worked find with another OS before I installed FreeNAS.

BIOSes are really buggy these days. Particularly boot priorities are seriously messed up on many boards. Delete as many devices as possible to reduce the possibility of errors.
