I've been using FreeNAS for over a year now for media storage and PC backup. I'm very happy with it - beside some hassle with the Plex upgrade. Great to have this forum to share the pain and find good advice!
Using version 9.10 on a HP G8 with E3-1220 CPU, 4 x 2TB WD Red and IBM/LSI 9211 adapter.
