I was actually looking into a RAM Disk however for what I'm looking to do it won't be so easy. And I'm looking for a free RAM Disk that will reload upon bootstrap. Those are not free as far as I know.
Ewwwww Ram disk buddy. I setup a 10 GB ramdisk on my gaming box, i load games in there before i play (little script handles all the loose ends) lets just say there are no load times... it's just there (just benchmarked it, reading 88,000 IOPS and 2.75 GB/s read, writing, 48,000 IOPS, 1.5 GB/s)
I found a free RAM Disk that will create up to a 4GB drive and the paid version ~$15.00 lets you do any size drive. I paid for it and now compile off a 14GB Ram Disk. It's called Dataram Ramdisk. Not even sure how we got to this topic on the thread.
