I already have 4 2TB and looking to go with 3x1 radiz1, I also have an external with 2 2TB as a backup, planning on using that 4TB to backup the important stuff from the 6TB. This will be used for roughly 2-3 computers for storage and backups. I also plan to use it as ESXi storage later down the line, I will upgrade the RAM at that point and maybe the CPU.

Here is the proposed build

SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCL-O LGA 1155 Intel C202 Micro ATX Intel Xeon E3 Server Motherboard
Kingston Technology ValueRAM 8GB DDR3 1600MHz PC3 12800 ECC CL11 DIMM with TS Server Workstation Memory KVR16E11/8
Intel G2020 2.9GHz 5.0GT/s 3MB LGA 1155 CPU Processor BX80637G2020
Cooler Master Force 500 - Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Included 500W Power Supply
Cooler Master 120mm Silent Case Fan 4-in-1 Value Pack - (R4-S2S-124K-GP)

Subtotal: $353.24
Any advice would be great.

Looks like good choices to me. Not a fan of Cooler Master's, but that's very much open to debate on what is "better". It's about as useful of an argument as Intel vs AMD. The only dumb people are the one's that participate in the argument. :P

I only bought the Cooler Master since it is cheap and has a built in PSU. I might hate myself later, I would really like something with easy removable drives but the price goes up with with extra features..
