Network not showing up

I have a laptop currently running the NAS, it has a 1TB harddrive hooked up to it. I have done all of the steps: create user, added drive, create windows shares. When i us my mom's laptop i can go to my computer and type in my ip and the 2 shares i have created came up, samething with my sisters laptop. Now when i use my Desktop and i go to type in the IP it says "Windows cannot access \\192.***.*.***", and if i dont use the \\ in front of the ip it brings me right to the freeNAS webgui site. i have no idea what is wrong, it seems that i can only access it over wifi right now.
Anything help is appreciated.

Did you configure and start the CIFS service? It's on the 'service' tab.
If yes, did you create any Windows (CIFS) shares?

yes i turned it on and i have 2 shares one called music an one called programs-games

yes i have both done, i cant seem to find out what is wrong

ive tried everything i could think of, i bet it is something very simple im missing.
