I currently have 24 3TB harddisks configured into 6 4-disk hardware RAID5's, and these 6 RAID5's were configured as RAIDZ-2. It was setup by the person before me. Is this the best setup or can there be a much better setup with greater performance and reliability? I was thinking of creating 2-way mirrors (12 x 2-3TB mirrors), is that good?
