I've read the FreeNAS guide description regarding configuring DDNS, but I'm still lost. I have been using DNSExit.com for DDNS in the past and now would like to setup FreeNAS to use it. According to the DNSExit documentation, the DDNS client should use the following URL to update the IP address:

http://update.dnsexit.com/RemoteUpdate.sv?login=yourlogin&password=yourpassword&host=host1.yourdomain.com&myip=xxx.xx.xx.xxx

I know that "yourloin". "yourpassword" and "host1.yourdomain.com" are simply placeholders that are filled in by the DDNS client from what I enter in the configuration screen, but what I'm not sure about is what to enter on that screen for CheckIPServer and CheckIPPath. I would assume the following are appropriate, but apparently not:

CheckIPServer: update.dnsexit.com
CheckIPPath: RemoteUpdate.sv

Anyone recognize what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!
Dan

P.S. Attached is the document from DNSExit.com that describes the protocol.
