Mysql

Hi new to NASes and I got Freenas 8.2 up and running, everything is working great.
Had a question about mysql for xbmc only, is it advisable to run it on my Freenas box or should I have it on separate box.
If it's a good idea can someone point me in the direction of setting it up. My understanding is I need jails in order to install it. I have looked for a tutorial but I'm having a hard time finding one.

You need to wait for the final release of 8.2, then the Plugins/Jail will work and you can install MySQL. Now it's just Beta and there are problems so it's not working. There are several tutorials I've written for jails if you use 8.04, but you will be better to wait for 8.2.
