Hi there,

My name is Stefan, live in Germany and I love FreeNAS. Come from Synology. Nice package but FreeNAS is better. Start learning right now how works zfs and jail concept.

I bought a Supermicro sc836 with an Xeon 8 core with 64 GB ECC ram. Works like a charm. Now playing a little bit with jail and how to replace a disk in worst case scenario.

This server will work as an CIFS server for my windows domain and in additional veeam backup host.
