Hello All,

I've been playing around with FreeNAS for the past few days inside of a VM. Basically, my end goal is to have a local nas/san (afp or iscsi) shared between all of the macs in my office, while running a cloud to sync folders with video editors who are working remotely.

I've got FreeNAS up and running, as well as OwnCloud, but I can't seem to figure out how to change OwnCloud's media directory to a folder outside of the jail. When I set the folder in the storage box under the OwnCloud Jail settings, and try to check mounted, it gives me an error.

Here are screenshots of my Volume, my jail storage, and the error

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks !

It wouldn't let me add storage if the Jail was inside of the root directory. I ended up creating two seperate datasets, one of the Jail, one for the Data. I finally got it to work, but I'm still having permission errors when trying to make changes to the OwnCloud folders via AFP shares.

Thanks!
