I wanted to move the /root folder to a different drive: Specifically, a 4 Gb zfs formatted USB key that I do not plan to ever detach.
My motivation is to have write access to the root's user dir, to touch/test a few things, without having to remount everything. I'm using a USB flash key to avoid deploying an actual hard drive. I plan to move the directory using the GUI.
Before proceeding with this, I wanted to know if this was a safe/tested operation.
