For the purposes of using Freenas as an FTP server, we have mounted Windows Shares on the Freenas. We have done so by editing /conf/base/etc/fstab and /conf/base/etc/nsmb.conf. However when we want to discontinue this by removing the entries in these config files, the shares persist after the NAS reboots.
How do we discontinue these shares permenantly?
Also, how do we obtain more granular control of permissions on these shares?
