mirror 4x1TB with 1x4TB

I have 4 1TB hard drives, and 1 4TB hard drive -

can I setup a pool where the 4 1TB drives are a mirror for the 1 4TB ? (I know this is probably not the world's best storage solution )

Yes and no.

No, there's not an option to create a mirror between VDEVs in a pool, so no single pool can have the setup you want.

What you can do is have one pool (4x1) and set up a replication job to a second pool (1x4).
