I'm pretty much a noob, so I apologize if this seems easy.

I've spent hours researching how to get minidlna to work. I got the minidlna plugin up and running, cut I can't seem to get the right settings for VLC sees the media I want to stream.
I can't figure out how to add media to the plugin. I think it has something to do with mountpoints?

Here's my info:
running Freenas 8.3 release
Plugins jail path: /mnt/DS1500/Plugins (this is a physically separate hard drive from where the videos are located)
Jail IP address: 192.168.1.107
Jail IP netmask: /24 255.255.255.0
plugins archive path: /mnt/DS1500/Pluginsarchive

The videos I want to stream are located here: /mnt/DS41000/Videos

How should my mount points be configured?
What should I have in the "Media Directory" field in the MiniDLAN configuration window?
Do I have to enter anything in the "Auxiliary Parameters" box in theMiniDLNA configuration window?

Thanks for any help!

Regards,

Craig

Bump. I also am at this point. From what I understand you need to create a directory inside of jail/usr/pbi/minidlna_amd64/ which shall be the destination of a mounting point. The source is supposed to be wherever your media is actually contained.
