I am new to Freenas. I am running version 8.3.1 as a server to a windows susyem, so I have several drives configured as shares to windows and all works very well.
I am trying to set up minidlna and have run into problems which I would like some help with please.
I have installed the jails software and started this up and it seems to be working. I can ping the new address from my network and get replies. I have also created a mount point.
When I try and install minidlna via the plugins route, I get a failed to install message, and on checking the console I get the following messages appearing:
mkdir: archive: read-only file system
chown: archive/.freenas; No such file or directory
chmod: archive/.freenas: No such file or directory
ln: /var/tmp/firmware: No such file or directory
Has anybody got any hints please where I have gone wrong.
