Greetings

So I have 9.2.1.8 installed. I tried uploading a plugin throught the GUI, mariadb-5.3.12-amd65.pbi that I acquired from here: http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/pcbsd/pbi/PBI/databases/mariadb-server/9/x64/.

It uploaded and created a jail no problem but when I went to start the plugin through the GUI it says "some error occurred" and won't start.

Here is the syslog entry for that error:

Nov 24 11:24:59 FreeNAS manage.py: [plugins.utils:92] Couldn't retrieve http://10.0.0.200/plugins/MariaDB/24/_s/status: HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway

I would really like to have a jail for the maria database plugin. Maria database is a drop-in replacment for MySQL. That would be great so that I could convert my owncloud plugin to maria instead of sqlite which can only handle a single connection attempt.

After that I would like to install phpmyadmin so I can administer maria though a webpage. Does anyone know if there is a phpmyadmin plugin?

Also is there a webserver plugin like apache or nginx that makes hosting a custom website easy? Then I could use maria database and the webserver plugin to make a really sweet webserver that is extremely easy to administer.

Your questions are probably better answered in a FreeBSD forum. Once inside the jail you are basically doing BSD work. Few people here have the experience (or motivation) to talk about FreeBSD in a FreeNAS forum. ;)

It could give you some ideas how to do it. With NGINX and php-fpm installed, you got the basics to install WordPress for example (https://wordpress.org/).
I don't know a complete how to, so you have to figure it on your own.
